romania-mission-trip

International Medical Relief is committed to helping the vast number of Romanians orphans, gypsies, poor farmers, and peasants. As a result of child requirement laws, Romania claims the world’s largest orphan populations, many of whom are disabled, suffer mental and psychological challenges, or were otherwise abandoned out of desperation by poor families burdened by the mandated population buildup requirements of Ceausescu. The team will not only provide health care to extremely impoverished villages, but also warmth, love, compassion and encouragement for Romanians engaged in a constant fight for survival. The team will journey by train to our clinic destination. Along the ride you will see centuries-old villages, ancient castles and other ruins that will give you a glimpse into Romania’s deep past. The medical team will venture out daily to quaint villages and an orphanage to care for the peasants who otherwise would not have any access to medical care.through world famous Transylvania
