International Medical Relief trips are all inclusive. We take care of all of the logistics for your trip as well as the organization of the clinics in each area. As a member of our medical mission team, we value the time that you have already taken to participate in this opportunity. Your tax deductable donation for participation covers international transportation from the continental United States, ground transportation, lodging, meals, permit requirements, clinic, airport taxes and other visa requirements necessary. This fee varies depending on the location and time of year of travel. Donations requested to participate in South and Central America average $2,700 - 3,000; Asia and Africa average $3,200 - $3,600. Not included in your donation for this trip would be fees for obtaining your passport, vaccinations necessary for international travel, international health insurance, telephone calling cards, other personal souvenirs to remember your journey. Many volunteers have great success asking for financial partners to participate with them as they travel to serve in such a worthy manner. IMR is here to help our volunteers to fundraise by providing you with information for a letter that you can send to friends, family and local business that you support. We assist you in making donating to your trip simple by helping to manage your tax deductable donations. Businesses and individual partners can contribute through credit card as well. Many organizations also have matching-gifts programs. We are here to help.
