Dates, Costs & Arrangements
Dates are not guaranteed until full payment has been received by the team and airfare is purchased. Cost is all-inclusive: includes airfare from a major U.S. airport where the team will meet, all ground expenses, licenses and visas. Please ensure that your schedule allows at least one day of travel on either end for changes.
International Medical Relief will make all arrangements for your stay including transportation, visas, translators, clinic set up, your entire in country stay and more. Your donation will allow IMR to provide you with: airfare, ground transportation, lodging, meals, supplies, medical registrations and licenses, tipping and other miscellaneous expenses. The deposit for your trip must be received with your application for processing.
Applications are provided on a trip-by-trip basis by request only as there is limited space available on each trip. You may contact us at Marylou@imrus.org to obtain an application.
Once your application has been reviewed you will be invited to participate in an interview process. If you are accepted to go, you will then have the opportunity to learn more about the trip before making your final decision as to whether you will participate. All participants will be given a thorough Briefing Packet of materials and information on the country and the itinerary, as well as necessary information about vaccinations and Third-World travel.
Once the applicants have been selected, the team will be invited to participate in weekly conference calls that will address the details of trip and clinics. Space is limited and on a first-come basis.
